Current scripts

With mathematical K-5 standards in mind, I write these to teach specific topics and use the company's conventions to tell dynamic, interactive stories.

Goals:

- Tell a story that involves current IP characters, locations, structure
- Follow national guidelines related to teaching students

Return to Writing

Constraints:
- Story must be a certain length for digital consumption
- Story must incorporate certain pre-defined elements from animation and design
- Must be designed to be understood by K-5 audiences

Process:

1) For NDA purposes, I essentially receive a summary of the story and write a script from it.

I currently work at this company and have written many scripts. Below is one of my favorites and one that took considerable work to refine from both a content and character development perspective. Some details have been removed and we do not write traditionally-formatted scripts for the sake of both time and sanity.

Note: The use of these scripts is designed for comprehension at younger ages, which is what makes writing them fun and challenging. If you wish to read them, try to keep in mind that this script is designed for first graders to hear.
